Comtech Xicom Technology, Inc., a technology leader of high power amplifier products for satellite communication (SATCOM) announced an expanded 12.75-14.5 GHz frequency coverage option for
its Ku-band TWT amplifiers. 

Comtech Xicom’s new line of high efficiency amplifiers including XTD-400KHE and  XTD-750KHE are capable of operating across this entire band.  The XTD-1250K antenna-mount as well as the new XTRT-1250K touch screen are also available with wide-band coverage.

With continued strong demand for Ku-band satcom bandwidth, the addition of a Kuband to cover from 12.75GHz to 13.25 GHz provides critical bandwidth for new  systems and emerging applications. In support of this new bandwidth, Comtech  Xicom is now offering 400W, 750W and 1250W TWTAs that provide full speccompliant performance over the expanded band in the same package and with the same features as the standard band products.
