The SRS-4401-SERIAL series of CompactPCI® Serial systems from EKF is suitable for all industrial requirements, even under harsh conditions. With its dimensions of 245mm x 176mm x 295mm (4U/44HP), the rack provides space for a CompactPCI® Serial CPU card and up to 8 peripheral boards. The SRS-4401- SERIAL includes a top mount fan unit and an industrial grade removable power supply.

CompactPCI® Serial (CPCI-S.0) is a PICMG® open standard for modular industrial computers, which provides high speed serial I/O (PCI Express®, SATA, USB, Gigabit Ethernet) over the backplane. The SRS-4401-SERIAL rack accommodates a native CompactPCI® Serial CPU board such as the SC1-ALLEGRO or SC2-PRESTO. A variety of I/O peripheral cards is available, e.g. for storage and networking.
